We are not your average construction company.

We take on only a limited number of projects at any one time, so we can be as focussed, attentive and productive as we can be.

We are not driven by industry awards and accolades (although we have received many), but by a genuine desire to provide the highest level of professionalism, personal service and quality.

Building a new home or undertaking any kind of renovation is a significant step and a major investment for you, and we want you to be totally satisfied not just with the final product, but with the entire process.

We do not apologise for being perfectionists.
It is what drives us to deliver the best possible product.

The man behind the name

Our company founder and principal, Peter Young, has acquired over 40 years experience in the building industry setting the highest standards for himself and those who work for him and with him.

Peter sets the tone for the company’s character.

He deals with all clients personally, is directly involved in the day-to-day activities, oversees all projects and surrounds himself with suppliers, subcontractors and tradespeople who share his commitment to service, quality and craftsmanship.

Peter Young has no time or tolerance for second rate or second best. So naturally the people who work with Peterbuilt need to share his philosophy and his focus.

While we may embrace the latest building techniques and materials, our work practices are firmly grounded in old-fashioned values such as integrity, honesty, quality and pride.

Similarly, instead of continually changing suppliers and subcontractors, we have developed a strong, reliable and long term relationship with people we trust and respect, and vice versa.

Because at the end of the day, trust and respect is what it's all about.
